Data Collection

For the Data Collection agent to run as expected, all dependent components must meet the agent's minimum supported versions, as described below.

In addition to Common Message Types From All Agents, which all agents send, the Data Collection agent has its own exclusive set of messaging expectations. These Data Collection-exclusive messages can be expected when it's installed and running correctly, and you may rely on them for assistance in installation and troubleshooting. These messaging expectations are described in this section as well.
